Adult Hooded Towel – Designed to Be Different

Hi, I'm Scott, founder and designer of Dolphin & Dog. I create my hooded towels in small, limited-edition runs and ship them from Port Macquarie, Australia.

I set out to create what I believe is the best adult hooded towel you can buy. Not just another beach towel with a hood, but something genuinely different in quality, comfort and design.

The result is my reversible Soul Surfer hooded towel — classic deep navy on one side and a colourful retro design on the other. Two looks in one, made for beach days, swimming, surfing and relaxing at home.

Woven, Not Printed

Unlike printed designs, my Soul Surfer pattern is woven using individual coloured threads on a specialised loom.

Each towel is reversible and crafted in small batches using high-quality fabrics I’ve personally selected and refined. Every detail — seams, sizing, fabric feel and drying performance — is designed to last and perform.

Do the hooded towels match the dog drying coats?

Yes. I built the Hooded towels to be part of the same range as the dog drying robes. The range is called - Soul Surfer

Are they suitable for kids and adults?

Yes! My Soul Surfer Hooded Towels are available in sizes for toddlers, kids and adults. Each is designed for a comfortable fit, with absorbent towelling that makes drying off and changing easier after swimming, surfing or beach adventures. They're also available in matching designs for the whole family.

Can I place into your custom gift hamper?

Definitely. They pair perfectly with my illustrated gift box and personalised card service for a thoughtful, ready-to-give present.

How do the hooded towels dry so fast?

The towelling fabric I use absorbs moisture extremely quickly and releases it just as fast, making it ideal for regular beach or pool use. And when you need a fresh, dry surface, you can simply reverse the hooded towel to enjoy the completely soft, dry cotton side.

How do I wash the hooded towel?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle and avoid fabric softener. For environmental care, wash using my Microplastic-Catching Laundry Bag.

What happens at the end of its life?
